Antenatal & Postnatal Package (MAPS)

$5,500 - (medicare rebate approx. $2,790)

Full-spectrum care covering pregnancy through 6 weeks postpartum

  • Regular antenatal appointments (in-home) from the first positive pregnancy test

  • Prescriptions, pathology, and ultrasound requests as needed

  • Birth preparation and birth preference discussions

  • Pregnancy, birth and postnatal education at every appointment

  • Postnatal home visits up to 6 weeks

  • Lactation support & newborn checks & tests

The Postnatal Package

$2,500 - (medicare rebate approx. $840)

Dedicated, gentle home visits after your baby is born

  • In-home visits from week 1 through 6 weeks postpartum

  • Breastfeeding / feeding assessment & hands-on support

  • Maternal health & recovery checks (healing, mental wellbeing)

  • Baby weight checks and developmental progress

  • Birth debrief

  • Daily visits for 2-3 days, at one week, at two weeks, four weeks and at six weeks

The Pregnancy Starter

$250.00 - (medicare rebate up to $151)

Starting your pregnancy off prepared

  • No referral needed, no wait time or waiting rooms

  • Telehealth consult 15-45mins

  • Booking blood test and ultrasound requests & analysis

  • Scripts as required

  • 2nd telehealth consult 15-45mins for: results, discussing models of care in Tamworth & referral to desired service

Singular Clinical Services

  • In home assessment and management of severe nausea & vomiting of pregnancy

    • access as a fortnight package of care OR single IV fluid treatment over 2 hours

    • IV fluid

    • Pathology testing

    • Blood sugar monitoring

    • Healthy weight monitoring

    • Mental health surveillance and referral if required

    • Psychosocial assessment, referral for supports as required

    • Optimising oral intake

    • Medication review and scripts

    • Collaboration with Tamworth Hospital Birth Unit as required

  • Requests.

    • Midwife consult via telehealth, video or in person for routine pregnancy blood tests and ultrasound requests.

    Result interpretation.

    • Routine results may be sent to you or your ongoing care provider

    • Any variation from normal precedes an additional consult for discussion, management and care planning (in collaboration with your planned care provider).

  • Medication management and script issuing for common pregnancy and postpartum health conditions within an endorsed midwifery scope

    *NOTE: Specialist health conditions unrelated to pregnancy and postpartum may be outside the scope of midwifery prescribing. If something is outside my scope your fee is waived and I will refer you to the appropriate clinician for further support

  • The service to kick-start your pregnancy from the very first at home positive test. No referral required. Skip the GP wait times and waiting rooms.

  • The hands-on experience to set you up for success.

    • From 36 weeks of pregnancy if there are no contraindications for labour (care provider approval)

    • Whether planning a vaginal birth or caesarean

    • Ideal for those passionate about having breastmilk available for their babies in case latching is challenging, or as a supplement

    • Most beneficial for babies at risk of jaundice or low blood sugars, for whom supplemental feeds are likely to be recommended (having breastmilk available takes the pressure off pumping to provide large volumes in the early days while your supply is establishing so you can focus on rest and bonding with your baby)

    What’s included:

    • 15-45 minute face to face midwife consult with hands-on demonstration and colostrum collection - get to know your breasts!

    • Take-home expressing kit

    • Instructions for safe storage and transfer to hospital

    • Follow-up to see how you’re going with additional face to face assistance if required

Notes:

If you access a pregnancy starter then decide to continue pregnancy care through By Her Side your investment is absorbed into the MAPS package fee.

Single hyperemesis treatment is inclusive within the MAPS package fee, further treatment if required incurs a reduced fee to cover the cost of ongoing product.

When you’re all in on the Antenatal & Postnatal Package

  • Non-refundable $1,500 deposit required to confirm booking
    - 2nd payment = $2,000 to be paid before the 28 week visit
    - Final Balance = $2,000 due before 36 weeks
    - Payment plans available on request

  • Welcome and information pack sent to you, including a Care Agreement Contract for signing

  • Questionnaire sent to you ahead of your comprehensive first visit

  • At closure of care your medicare receipt will be available for you to claim a single bulk payment back to you

When you invest in the Postnatal Package

  • Non-refundable $1,500 deposit required to confirm booking
    - Final Balance = $1,000 due before the 2-week visit

  • Welcome and information pack sent to you, including a Care Agreement Contract for signing

  • Link sent to you to book your pregnancy getting to know you visit, ahead of your birth

  • Reach out when you’ve given birth, I’ll come to you for your first visit at home on the day you leave hospital

When you need the Hyperemesis Package

  • Full payment required to confirm booking

  • Care Agreement Contract sent to you for signing

  • Treatment begins on the very next available date

  • Further treatment led by your needs
